Barb grew up in a family of professional musicians studying classical music, first on the piano and then the violin.  She picked up the guitar when she was 12 yrs.old, teaching herself.  The early 70's/late 60's music and blues were a strong musical influence, especially BB King,  James Taylor,  Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, & Santana.

She was a semi-finalist in 2008  & 2005 at the International Blues Challenge competition in Memphis as a solo/duo. She won the Blues Challenge Peoples' Choice in October 2004. 

Barb and her husband live full time in their motorhome on the road which allows her to perform in many places across the country.  She also leads praise & worship, as a psalmist with a prophetic and creative flow, which she's done for over 40 years.
